Founded in 1957, Loy Clark Construction has been part of the Portland, Oregon, community for more than 60 years.

During that time, we have built infrastructure across the city and region. We provide construction services critical to communities. For instance, directional drilling, cable plowing, underground, conduit and vault, saw cutting, paving, asphalt and concrete, and vacuum excavation. The company is licensed in Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho and Montana.

Loy Clark Pipeline Co., founded by Mr. Loy S. Clark, was the first pipeline construction company in Oregon. Loy Clark brought the first natural gas lines into Portland, Oregon, beginning in 1957. Over the next several decades, Loy Clark diversified its services. Our list expanded by adding electrical/communication infrastructure, directional drilling, asphalt paving, saw cutting and vacuum excavation. We were one of the first companies to begin using horizontal directional drills, it is now the primary method to install conduits and pipe for electrical, communication and natural gas industries.

Today, we serve all major utilities in the Portland, Oregon, region and provides a unique variety of services to companies across the Pacific Northwest.
